Root User

The root user is the primary administrator account created during the FTW (First Time Wizard) installation. A password must be defined when the root user is initially created, and in line with the security policy, this password is configured so that it cannot be changed later.

In scenarios where system administrators do not have access to the ARK2FA portal, the root user serves as the privileged account used for administrative operations. The root account’s permissions include modifying ARK2FA configuration settings, performing role management, and activating the license.
