Portal 2FA Settings

Management area defining the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) methods and setup permissions used for portal logins.
SMS can be used: This option enables the use of SMS-based one-time verification codes, sent to the user’s mobile phone during the authentication process, as a second factor on the portal.
Authenticator can be used:This setting allows the use of time-based verification codes generated by TOTP-compliant applications such as Google Authenticator and Microsoft Authenticator as a second factor on the portal.
Push Notification can be used:This configuration option controls the push notification–based second factor mechanism, where the user completes authentication by approving or denying notifications sent to the ARK2FA mobile application.
Enable Authenticator Setup in Login:This setting enables displaying the Authenticator setup screen (QR code, secret key, etc.) as an additional step during the portal login flow for users who do not yet have an Authenticator registered, allowing the setup to be completed directly within the login process.
