ADFS Panel Settings

Within the ADFS Panel Settings, ARK2FA allows the text content and security limits of the ADFS sign-in verification screens to be customized. Configuration made in this section is reflected in the titles, descriptions and warning messages displayed to users during the 2FA step.

The following parameters can be configured:

  • SMS Header: Defines the header text displayed for the SMS verification step.

  • SMS Info: Specifies the information or help text shown under the SMS verification field.

  • Authenticator Header: Defines the header text displayed for the Authenticator (TOTP) verification step.

  • Authenticator Info: Specifies the explanatory or help text shown when the Authenticator method is used.

  • Warning Message: Defines the warning message presented in case of invalid input, missing information or policy violations.

  • Submit Message: Specifies the text displayed on the submit/continue button on the verification screen.

  • RF Code Message: Defines the explanatory text for the field where a backup code, reference code or similar additional verification code is entered.

  • Failed Attempt: Sets the maximum number of consecutive failed verification attempts. When this threshold is reached, access for the corresponding user is temporarily restricted.

  • Reset Timeout (min): Specifies, in minutes, the duration after which the failed attempt counter is reset. Once this period has elapsed, the user can attempt verification again.

Use Defaults to restore all parameters on this page to their default values, and Save to store the current configuration and apply it to the ADFS integration.
