Recomended IIS Settings

There have been complaints that there are serious slowdowns, especially when logging into the portal, in ARK2FA installations where no requests have been received for a long time. The following settings can be applied on IIS to fix this problem.

1. Open the IIS Management Console on the D2M Server,

2. Expand the server and go to the Application Pools screen,

3. Right click ARK2FA Application pool and Open Recycling menu

1. Uncheck all settings include "Regular time intervals (in minutes)", then click Next to finish the wizard.

1. Click to finish.

1. Click Advanced Settings from Application Pool

1. Change Start Mode and Idle Time-out values as shown.

   1. Start Mode: AlwaysRunning

   2. Idle Time-out (minutes): 0

1. Restart IIS Server.
